46 Days
The first Salute to Israel Parade, which took place in 1964, will see its 46th anniversary this year. Here's a clip from last year's Parade: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5QZxF6OQ. The Salute to Israel Parade has continued year in and year out as the largest annual gathering in celebration of Israel in the world. Be a part of it this May 23rd!
While reading the Phnom Penh Post as usual this weekend, we discovered that Israel and Cambodia increased bilateral trade by 46 percent in 2009. Israel exports water management and agricultural technologies, as well as some security and telecommunications. The mail import from Cambodia is rice (quite useful, now that sushi has finally caught on in Jerusalem!).

Israel is known not only for its agricultural innovations, but also for its advancement of ecological technologies and its concern for the environment. Israel will soon be launching its eco-friendly battery-swap stations, and the electric car to be featured in his program will be riding up Fifth Avenue at the Parade! Enter for a change to ride in the car up Fifth Avenue - and be one of the first ever to ride in this world-renowned, groundbreaking invention.
